    Meet Paralympic Shooter Michael Tagliapietra




    Come meet Michael and hear his story at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum on September 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Michael Tagliapietra is a Paralympic shooter who has been part of the USA Shooting team since discovering the sport at the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club. After an accident in 2003, Mike took a break from shooting but returned to the sport with determination. He became a resident athlete at the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, leading to remarkable achievements. Mike was named USA Shooting’s Paralympic Athlete of the Year in 2014 and 2015 and competed at the Rio 2016 Paralympics. He now lives and resides in Colorado Springs, Olympic City USA. All athlete meet and greets and other offerings are included with the purchase of a general admission ticket to the museum.
