Parents should NOT be inside the tennis court area. Please show support to your players from outside the tennis courts.
The number of players and groups are subject to change based on division participation.
Because you will be playing several matches, the play will go on for a few hours. So, we have prepared a list of suggestions that you may want to consider for helping make your stay here more enjoyable.
After reading this information, if you should have any questions, you are welcome to contact our Director of Tennis, German Otero, or the Feather Sound Country Club Tennis Staff. Our pro shop telephone line is (727) 222-5494 or (574) 323 6477.
The address to our tennis facility is:
    Feather Sound Country Club (Tennis)
    2201 Feather Sound Drive
    Clearwater, Florida 33762
German Otero, Director of Tennis at Feather Sound Country Club, will serve as Tournament Director. Chris De Tone, our Tennis Pro Shop Manager, will also be on hand to help in all areas.
There will not be any on-site food services available. However, we are in a very accessible location, with many options for food and drink nearby.
Publix Supermarket, as well as several fast-food places, such as McDonald’s, Burger King, Wendy’s, Chik-Fil-A, Subway, and more, are within one (1) mile from the tennis courts. You will have time to go there between matches.
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to our facility if you would like to save time and expense. We will have paper cups, bottled water, and ice, available for you at no charge, at our Tennis pro shop area.
Please note: The usage of the Feather Sound Country Club Main Clubhouse is not allowed for tournament players and their families. It is for club members only. However, you will have access to the FSCC Tennis Pro Shop, and its restrooms.
For seating, we have sixteen (16) Adirondack chairs with small tables for you to rest and relax. They do not have umbrellas. To help guarantee your personal comfort, we recommend bringing your own favorite chair(s) and sun protection device(s) for a more enjoyable viewing experience.
Event parking is available between the sets of tennis courts, but spaces are limited. Once full, the grassy area between the street and tennis court fences will become available to you for added parking space.
The FSCC Tennis Staff believes that all players and tournament officials should work together to help the tournament run smoothly and be a positive experience for all. Common etiquette and common sense are expected and appreciated.
Finally, in Florida there is always a concern about the weather affecting any outdoor event. We will watch it closely, keeping you informed as best we can.
It is always prudent to keep an eye on your email for messages from us concerning the weather conditions either before the tournament begins, or during the tournament itself. If we need to let you know about a change in scheduling due to the weather, email is the way we will contact you. Thank you. We look forward to seeing you!
