Dance for PD® is pleased to offer limited in-person activities at the Mark Morris Dance Center in Brooklyn, NY.

Sing for PD classes are led by professional musicians who share their joy of singing and the knowledge they have acquired through years of training about how to project their voices and enunciate clearly. The classes were initiated in 2006 by Brooklyn Parkinson Group (BPG) at the request of its members. In them, participants focus on breath and rhythm in support of articulation and projection, as well as choral explorations of Broadway favorites, American standards, and specialized styles.

Classes are offered free of charge to persons with PD and their accompanying care partners. Masks are strongly recommended but not required to participate.

Advanced registration for in-person attendance is encouraged for each individual, including care partners. Drop-in participation will be accommodated when possible. First-time participants should contact us here or call (718) 218-3373 to sign up.
