Thresher Aquatics, a nonprofit organization operating under 501(c)(3) status, focuses on assisting individuals living with disabilities through the transformative experience of SCUBA diving.
Our mission
Is to enhance accessibility to SCUBA diving by establishing a community of exceptionally trained buddies and boat crews, ensuring their ready availability for our divers. Moreover, we are dedicated to removing financial barriers to diving, making the enriching activity accessible to all who wish to join us.
At Thresher Aquatics, the opportunity to dive is provided at no cost to either our adaptive divers or their buddies, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Thresher Aquatics delivers positive, life-changing experiences for our adaptive SCUBA divers and their families.
Our modern and integrative approach combines travel, adaptive SCUBA diving, and various other inclusive activities. Built on the idea of connecting and reconnecting individuals with a desire to conserve, protect, and explore the worlds oceans, Thresher Aquatics welcomes both certified and non-certified individuals of all abilities to share in the joy of underwater exploration.

While we all revel in the underwater world, our commitment extends to ocean conservation and reef protection, believing in the power of small acts of kindness to create positive ripples across our undersea community. SCUBA diving and snorkeling serve as avenues to forge lasting connections and create cherished memories for everyone involved in our Thresher Aquatics experiences.
The weightless, zero-gravity environment of our underwater world is a great equalizer, offering a unique space where freedom of movement is restored.
Our utilization of Vitamin-Sea aims to enhance the mind, body, and soul of all participants.
