The Michigan Amputee Golf Association (MAGA) was established in 1955 and has been conducting a State Championship Golf Tournament for Amputees, now all adaptive golfers, from all over the Midwest and Canada ever since. The MAGA is a non profit organization, 501(c)(3), that was created to help Amputees mentally and physically rehabilitate through the means of golf. It is an inspiring group of men and women of all ages who have at some point in their lives been challenged by the loss of a limb.. It consist of our Wounded Warriors, Cancer survivors, diabetics, and those involved in accidents, to name a few.
OUR MISSION
Established in 1955, the Michigan Amputee Golf Association has been conducting tournaments and encouraging participation for hundreds of amputee golfers in the Midwest. Even though a golfer may be Physically challenged, he or she can still enjoy the camaraderie, competition, and enjoyment the great game of golf can provide.
