Kenner, LA – Get ready for an action-packed day of adrenaline and inspiration at the Wentwood Playground Skatepark! On October 12th, 2024, the vibrant community of Kenner will host “Wheels in Motion,” a groundbreaking Wheelchair Motocross (WCMX) and Skateboarding competition that promises to be an unforgettable event for participants and spectators alike.
This exhilarating event, running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, is open to all skateboard and WCMX athletes, showcasing the remarkable talents of adaptive athletes alongside traditional skateboarders. Presented by TNT 360 Mobility, City of Kenner Parks and Recreation Department, S.M.C.L. Foundation & Associates, and the World WCMX Federation, “Wheels in Motion” aims to highlight the incredible abilities of adaptive athletes and foster an inclusive environment within the extreme sports community. Numerous local community organizations have also joined hands to support this event.
