FREE: Kayak Fishing event for Veterans, First Responders and their families. Freshwater fishing event and lunch to follow!
Come join the Chicago Chapter of Heroes on the Water for a Fun day of Kayaking and Fishing in one of our beautiful Forest Preserves of Will County. As always, all HOW-Chicago events are free to attend for Veterans, Active Duty Service members, First Responders and their families.
Our event will run from approximately 0800-1400. Please arrive between 0800 and 1200 to receive your fishing gear, instructions and safety brief, so we can get you on the water and fishing as quickly as possible. Lunch will be provided at 1100 for all participants and volunteers, but you are welcome to bring your own snacks/food/drinks if you have special needs/preferences.
Veterans, Active Duty and First Responders, if you are not registered with the Chicago chapter, you need to send an email to the chapter, so you can be added to the chapter’s Invitation List.
