The Bridge II Sports ParaKayak Club introduces people with disabilties to the freedom of paddling throughout the summer and early fall.

To end the season, paddlers of all abilities (both those with and without disabilities) are invited to join in our annual event Paddle! Lake Crabtree – a morning celebration of paddling with laid back racing and fun at Lake Crabtree County Park in Morrisville, NC.

Participants compete in a 3 mile challenge using sea kayaks, K1s, tandems and stand-up paddleboards.  Lake Crabtree has been the venue for two US Canoe and Kayak Marathon Team selections and is home to the most accessible dock in the country (through 5 years of hard work and determination of Bridge II Sports and community and corporate partners!).  Located in the heart of the Triangle, Lake Crabtree is a favorite of paddlers with its smooth water and lack of powerboats.

All proceeds from the event go to support the mission of Bridge II Sports and the ParaKayak Club dedicated to get everyBODY on the water.
