About Cholpon-Ata and Issyk-Kul Lake

Issyk-Kul lake is one of the largest mountain lakes which is located in Kyrgyz republic, in Central Asia. The lake possesses breathtaking beauty and is one of the main tourist attractions in the region.

Issyk-Kul is surrounded by high mountains, including the Tian Shan range, which creates an impressive landscape. It is also known for its unique microclimate, where even in the summer, the air is not as hot as in other regions of Central Asia.

The city of Cholpon-Ata, situated on the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, is one of the most popular resort cities in Kyrgyzstan. It is famous for its sandy beaches, crystal-clear water, and picturesque surroundings.

For this event LOC provides: accommodation & meals for 2 elite athletes (one of whom must be a female) and 1 official from member counties for 2 nights and 3 days, local transportation and waiver of entry fee.

Transfer from the airport to the hotel and back is provided as a service of the organiser: Round trip from Manas Airport to the host hotel (270 km) – 40$ per person.

UP to 8 ITOs can apply for free accommodation & meals (3 nights 4 days), registration must be done through the respective NF in World Triathlon system.
