The New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA) is excited to produce a Fall Symposium with the main goal of bringing our ski community together in anticipation of the 2025 winter.  #SkiingBetterTogether
This year’s symposium is being graciously hosted again by The Dublin School in Dublin, NH on Saturday, October 5th, 2024 starting at 9am. The symposium will include an overlapping program for event organizers and officials (registration HERE) and coaches.
This ongoing educational experience is open to all current NENSA members. By requiring NENSA membership for attendance, we are subsidizing the overall cost of the program.  Whether you are new to coaching or a veteran we hope you will join us.
Register by the end of September to save on registration for coaches!
On-ski program w/USSS L100 Certification – $35 before Oct. 1st, $55 after,
On-ski program for non-USSS L100 Certification – $45 before Oct. 1st, $65 after.

Program Overview:
 On-ski Clinics/Assessments:
US Ski and Snowboard L100 assessment led by Bryan Fish, US Ski and Snowboard Sport Development Director.
How to get certified: 1) Review the new USSS L100 pathway available on NENSA’s website HERE. 2) Complete the online portion of the new L100 curriculum prior to the assessment at the NENSA symposium. 3) Complete the assessment clinic at the Fall Symposium. You must register with USSS AND for the NENSA Fall Symposium in order to participate!
Non-certification ski clinics: If you are interested in the technical content offered through US Ski and Snowboard, NENSA and USSS encourage you to still participate in the on-ski clinic portion of the day. To do so, just register for the symposium as a “non-USSS L100 Certification On-Ski Participant.” The USSS clinic will form the majority of the afternoon program (12:30-4pm) at this year’s Symposium, and we look forward to having as many coaches engaging together in the process as possible!
For non-USSS certification seeking coaches, a morning ski session will also be led by Dublic XC Head Coach Kathy Maddock, introduce the Dublin venue, and provide another opportunity for coaches to ski together!
Equipment: Coaches should plan on bringing equipment to participate in dryland training (running), classic rollerskiing, and skate rollerskiing. NENSA will provide a limited number of classic and skate rollerskis from our EnjoyWinter matched ski fleet (all have NNN bindings), but if you are able to, please provide your own equipment. All participants should review NENSA’s Rollerski Policies and Procedures, and MUST wear a helmet.
Continuing Education Requirement: Currently USSS certified L100 and L200 coaches seeking to fulfill their continuing education requirement through this year’s Symposium should register as a “non-USSS L100 Certification on-ski participant.” The completion of the clinic/Symposium will be credited to your L100 or L200 certification in the Sport Education Academy (you must be subscribed to the Gold Tier to be active) following completion of the Symposium.
