Description

Join us for a CDT adventure! CDTC and partners are offering a 1-day opportunity to connect in a supportive space.

For CDTC’s Pride on the Divide Youth Hike this Sunday, September 29th, we will be partnering with Yampatika, Yampa Valley Pride, and the Queer Futures Center for a group trip into the Mad Creek area just outside the CDT Gateway Community of Steamboat Springs. The hike will be about 4 miles total, lasting from 9am-1pm. Carpooling options and lunch will be provided for this FREE opportunity to get together in community, have an adventure, and learn a few things along the way. Please note this program is geared towards 13-20 year olds who identify as LGBTQIA2S+.

This opportunity is possible through funding support from the Yampa Valley Community Foundation Out and Proud Fund.

Do not hesitate to reach out and ask questions prior to or after registering for the hike. We look forward to seeing you out there!

(Advance registration is required)

CDTC envisions a more equitable future for open lands: one in which all people are able to enjoy all the benefits of the Continental Divide landscape. Pride on the Divide recognizes that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Asexual, Two Spirit, and other members of the LGBTQIA2S+ Community are an integral part of the past, present, and future of the CDT community. CDTC hosts Pride on the Divide every year to celebrate LGBTQIA2S+ members of our trail community and to invite the CDT trail community to join us in continuing to ensure that the CDT Experience is one that is safe, accessible, and enjoyable for all.
