Join Special Olympics Maine for the 2026 State Soccer Competition on Thursday, October 15 at the Waterville Youth Soccer Association – North Street Fields in Waterville.

Athletes and Unified Partners from across Maine will come together for a day of soccer competition, teamwork, and fun.

5-A-Side Unified Team Competition

Getting involved is easy:

Let us know you’re interested. Complete the Intent to Participate Form for the State Soccer Competition.

Watch for registration. About 4 weeks before the competition, registration information will be sent to everyone who completed the Intent to Participate Form.

Complete your registration. Follow the instructions from Special Olympics Maine to register your athletes, Unified Partners, and team for the competition.

Interested in playing but don’t have a team? Visit our Become an Athlete page and complete the Athlete Intake Form. A Special Olympics Maine staff member will reach out to help connect you with soccer and other opportunities in your area.
