Description

The Adaptive Outdoor Education Center, Wheel With Me Foundation, and Wheel Sisters Organization are collaborating to offer our fourth annual Wheel Together Retreat! This Retreat is geared towards adults living with spinal cord injuries and will focus on whole body health. The Retreat will include recreation, empowerment, emotional wellbeing, and FUN, in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

This Retreat is intended to push people outside their comfort zone to try new things! It is an active, fun, and energy-filled weekend! Activities include mountain biking, adaptive equipment demos, waterskiing, kayaking, adaptive mobility skills and challenges, transfer skill building, and more!

TRANSPORTATION - Please note that the AOEC is available to provide transportation to/from Portland, ME to/from Carrabassett Valley, ME if you are flying in or taking the bus or train. You are responsible for arranging your travel to/from Portland, ME. 

*The Wheel Together Retreat is for adults 18+. 

**There is a $150 fee to attend the retreat. This includes meals, lodging, activities, and transportation to/from Portland, ME to Carrabassett Valley, ME.
