Description
Special Olympics Maine is offering Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing trainings for coaches. This will be a fun opportunity to work towards sport certifications in Cross Country Skiing & Snowshoeing!
Friday, January 9th, 2025 from 9am – 12pm at Quarry Road Trails in Waterville, ME
– Cross Country 9am-10am
– Snowshoe – 10am-12pm
Friday, January 23, 2025 from 9am – 12pm at Camp Tall Pines in Poland, ME
– Snowshoe – 9am-12pm
Each sport will have on-snow active sessions that will last 1-2 hours long. All participants should come prepared to be outside (in cold elements) with proper winter apparel (ski pants, jacket, hat, gloves, eye protection etc).
It is recommended to bring your own snowshoe and/or cross country ski equipment, however, rental equipment will be available for those that do not have their own.
