We are excited to once again offer a special training day in partnership with the Carrabassett Valley Academy! This day is an open training day for Athletes who participate in Special Olympics Maine’s Alpine skiing and Snowshoe competitions during its annual Winter Games. Alpine and Snowshoe Athletes will be paired with Alpine Skiing students from Carrabassett Valley Academy who will take them through the courses at their specific levels. Students and CVA Instructors will provide Alpine Skiing and Snowshoe education that Athletes and Coaches can use in future training sessions and competitions to help improve their skills! Click here to see a video from last year’s training day!

Event Date: Monday, February 2nd
Registration Deadline: January 9th
·     9:00am – 9:30am check-in
·     9:30am -11:45am – On-snow training
·     11:45am-12:30pm – Lunch Break (provide your own)
·     12:30-1:00pm – Opening Ceremonies
·     1:00-2:30pm – On-snow training continued
·     2:30-3:00pm – Wrap-up

Lift Tickets will be provided to all Athletes and Coaches!
