Maine’s coolest New Year’s tradition returns on January 1, 2026, at The Brunswick, Old Orchard Beach. Each year, hundreds of brave souls take a dip into the icy Atlantic Ocean to raise funds for Special Olympics Maine — supporting year-round sports, health, and leadership programs for more than 5,000 athletes statewide.
This year, we’re thrilled to introduce a new and improved event platform powered by GoFundMe Pro. It’s faster, easier, and designed to make your registration and fundraising experience even better.
Whether you’re a returning dipper, a first-time plunger, or a supporter cheering from shore, you can be part of something big. Every splash you make helps our athletes train, compete, and shine all year long. 🌊
