Rikert is thrilled to play host to the Rodrigues Sprints, originally designed by the Craftsbury Outdoor Center to honor Jim Rodrigues and offer early season FIS level races.  Despite its FIS designation this is an all comers race and we can’t wait to kick off our 50th season at Rikert with such a special race!
Then on Sunday, it’s a Classic race in honor of our friend, the late Tom Kendall.  The Kendall Classic kicks off the distance season with a FIS-sanctioned interval start of 7.5k for open-class skiers, followed up by a 5k interval start for U16s (the 5k is not sanctioned and will not be scored to either the FIS or NRL lists).

Rodrigues Sprints – Saturday, December 13th Court-style Sprint

Final formats and registration will be posted on event site.  Typically the event has been run as a Court-style sprint. The finals format will be designed to get as many folks into the heats as possible.
Qualifier is FIS-sanctioned.

Tom Kendall Memorial Classic – Sunday, December 8th 

7.5 k Open and 5 k U16 classic race.
7.5 k is FIS-sanctioned and held on Craftsbury’s homologated course.
FIS-sanctioned.
Scored to the Zak Cup.
