Paradox Sports is the national leader in adaptive climbing.  The Adaptive Climbing Initiative Course is intended for climbing facilitators, guides and instructors who seek to help people of all abilities climb.  This course is made possible thanks to the contributions of Move United and the US Department of Veterans Affairs.
This ACI program is designed to prepare leaders in the climbing industry with the “tool-kit” necessary to accommodate climbers of any and all abilities in their programs/facilities. This comprehensive training program will cover the diversity of disability, etiquette, health concerns, and technical systems for adaptation. The expert anecdotes and lessons provided serve adaptive athletes, climbing wall instructors, outdoor guides, physical therapists, and well-being advocates of all types.
*This course will be taking place at Movement Crystal City in Arlington, VA and registration is being managed internally by Paradox Sports.  This course is geared towards individuals who work directly with Veterans with disabilities.  If you are a Veteran or individual who works with Veterans and would like more information about the course, please email us at [email protected].
