Join Disabled Hikers for our monthly virtual hang out! This event is free and open to anyone, anywhere who is disabled, chronically ill, neurodivergent, deaf, blind, or otherwise has lived experience of disability. We will have a few topics for discussion, casual conversation, and time for questions. Meet other people who are interested in accessible hiking and belonging in the outdoors. Help us build a community of disabled hikers!
Accessibility: The hang out is held over Zoom. You do not have to have Zoom downloaded on your computer, but it does make joining easier. We will provide closed captions and transcription via Otter. ASL interpretation and/or CART is available by request, but we hope to provide it for all events as this event grows and funding allows. You are welcome to leave your camera off if needed, and all other forms of communication are welcome, including through chat or a support person. You can join or leave the event at any time. Please let us know if you have other access needs or questions!
