Description
Starting location: We will be starting at the Wainright Sport Complex (125 Gary L Maietta Way, South Portland, ME 04106) which has restrooms near the parking lot.
Starting time: arrive at 9:30am for a 10am start on the trail.
What to bring: Lunch, water, bug spray, sus screen, sunglasses
What to expect: We will ride in small groups from the Wainright Sport Complex on the Greenbelt walkway path. This is a paved pathway with a couple marked road crossings. We will ride over 5.5 miles to Bug Light Park. At Bug Light Park, we will eat our lunch on the 9 acres of green space overlooking the Bug Lighthouse! We will then ride back to the Wainright Sport Complex for around a total of 11+ miles. There are public restrooms at the Bug Light Park. Multiple staff and volunteers will have radios to use if cell phone reception is not reliable.
