Starting location: Meeting at the Gardiner Hannaford (40 Maine Ave, Gardiner, ME 04345) which has restrooms inside.

Starting time: arrive at 9:30am for a 10am start on the trail.

What to bring: Lunch, water, bug spray, sus screen, sunglasses

What to expect: We will ride in small groups from the Hannaford parking lot along the Kennebec River Trail. The trail is paved with a couple marked road crossings and will bring us all the way to the Capitol Park, where we will eat our lunch. From there, riders looking to get a few more mileage further north before turning around and returning to the hannaford parking lot. Eating lunch at the Capitol park has multiple picnic tables and plenty of maintained grass to relax before returning.
