Description

Have you heard that goats will temporarily be at Antrim Park? Invasive plants hurt the native plant communities, and the goats help by eating the invasive plants! Mark your calendar for a Meet the Goats event on Friday, April 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Antrim Park by the lake. A few goats from the organization Goats on the Go will be located at Antrim Park by the lake. There will also be a rainbow trout fish stocking at the park that day by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.
The Meet the Goats event is the only opportunity for the community to see and pet a few of the goats who will be located at the park. The goats will return to the park in May but solely to work. They will be behind protective fences to ensure they stay in the area where the invasive plants are located so they can help remove them. We hope to see you at the Meet the Goats event on April 18!
