In all our programs, from mountain climbing, cycling, white water rafting, and many other sports, we include both adaptive and able-bodied participants.</p> <p>Serving a Diverse Population In Need</p> <p>Approximately one in eight people in the United States have some form of a disability. This population includes over four million children and 14 million elderly, is spread almost equally between men and women, and includes people from all races.</p> <p>Their ranks have swelled with more than 706,000 members of the American Armed Forces who live with service-related disabilities from their participation in the Global War on Terror that began in 2001.
