Remember to add appropriate tags!Import a calendar and use the dropdown to associate it with the organization you createdNameWebsiteDescription <p><strong>About STRIDE</strong></p> <p>Welcome to STRIDE Adaptive Sports!</p> <p>STRIDE Adaptive Sports is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provided over 14,000 adaptive sport and recreation lessons in 2023-24 to individuals with disabilities, with a focus on youth and Wounded Warriors.</p> <p>STRIDE utilizes over 250 skilled volunteer sport instructors plus over 100 non-skilled volunteers for events, fundraising and maintenance projects; serves over 2000 families; and offers programs in more than 18 different sports at 26 regional locations in the Northeastern US.</p> <p>With a focus on individual lifetime sports, our programs use specialized equipment or teaching aids for successful participation to “level the playing field” for all.</p> <p>STRIDE is a partner member of Move United and Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA/AASI); a US Paralympic Sport Club; and a training club for New York Special Olympics.
