Beth had a dream four years ago to open a center for people with neurodegenerative diseases. Her vision was to create a nurturing environment that offers complementary programming and continuity of care for clients and their families.

Ten years ago her husband was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Beth was on a mission to find the best support services to help her husband live well until a cure is discovered. The Foundation became a 501(c)(3) in February 2020. Elgort has been recruiting an amazing team of people to help reach her goal to not only help her husband, but the community at large.

Within a short amount of time the foundation was able to start virtual classes and now have live in-person classes at the Tropical Sands Christian Church in Palm Beach Gardens. The staff is extremely dedicated and professional. This all could not be possible without the generosity of donors, supporters, and board members, and the kindness of the church for making their space available.

Previously, Beth had been the Program Director for a Psychiatric In-Patient Child Adolescent Program in New York and had private practices in NYC and Long Island. She has served on various boards and continues to dedicate her time to helping others in her community. Programming and team building comes naturally for Beth. In addition, she has certifications in Social Work, Education, Integrative Nutrition, and ISSA fitness.

Beth lives in Palm Beach Gardens with her husband, Steve, and their mini labradoodle, Benny. Together they have 7 wonderful grandchildren. Her passion in life has always been to help people be the best version of themselves. She believes with hope, love, and kindness, anything is possible.

Click here to see videos on their YouTube.

Any medical information provided is solely for the purpose of providing information and is not intended as medical advice.
