DESCRIPTION:The Instructional Swim program is for individuals who have a 
 physical or visual disability that are new to swimming. Athletes will be
  assigned one-on-one to a volunteer swim instructor. Floatation devices 
 will not be used in the teaching progression. \nThe Independent Swim pro
 gram is designed for swimmers who are able to swim at least 50 meters co
 nsecutively\, can be completely independent while in the water (no volun
 teer or coach assistance needed). Workouts are provided to increase endu
 rance\, strength and speed. Instruction is given to fine tune technique.
  Recreational swimmers who are looking to improve their technique or str
 oke are welcome. \nInstructional sessions are held in Lake Forest on Sun
 days 4:00-5:00pm (youth instruction)\, 5:00-6:00 pm (youth/teen instruct
 ion and coaching)\, 6:00-7:00pm (youth/adult independent swim). \nInstru
 ctional sessions are also offered in Carol Stream on Thursday evenings f
