DESCRIPTION:Held in partnership with the Hale Family YMCA and Simmons Uni
 versity \n\n\n\n\nAdaptive Sports New England’s swim lesson program is h
 eld in partnership with the Hale Family YMCA in Quincy and Simmons Unive
 rsity. The lessons are overseen by Paralympian Michael Prout\, and the l
 essons are taught by YMCA professionals and Simmons swimmers. These less
 ons are great for children through their one on one student to teacher r
 atio\, where swimming skills can be developed and improved. \nAs with al
 l Adaptive Sports New England programs\, this program is specifically de
 signed for those with visual or mobility impairments. Participating chil
 dren should demonstrate typical cognitive and behavioral development. Wh
 ile we believe that all children deserve and can benefit from learning t
 o swim\, these programs are not designed to provide the special support 
 that children on the autism spectrum or children with intellectual impai
